BARFIELD, J. The Normans appeal from a final judgment which reduced their award of medical malpractice damages by 50% based upon the jury's finding that William Norman's own negligence contributed to his injuries. Appellant asserts the trial court erred in denying his motion for a directed verdict on the issue of comparative negligence. We agree and strike that portion of the judgment reducing the damages.
